ADMINISTRATION

Elaine has been with us for the past 18 years and is our hospital administrator. We rely on her to take care of several departments, including personnel and accounts payable. She is married to Bob Zopp (the former coach) and has 2 children. Elaine keeps us organized (a very difficult task, indeed).

Natalie wears many hats as she is our OSHA Supervisor, Human Resources Director and purchasing agent.  She and her husband Michael along with their two children, live in Lewisburg. She is a registered veterinary technician who graduated from Fairmont.

RECEPTIONISTS

Lou Ella is one of our receptionists who also works in our Covington office on Tuesdays. She and her husband Chuck have 3 kids (two daughters and one son). She is always cheerful, smiling and glad to help people.

Katie is another one of our receptionists and public relations director. She and her husband, Allen, live in Union along with their dogs, Molly & Reba and 5 feline children.

Daphaine is one of our receptionists who also works in our Rainelle office on Wednesdays. She, her husband, Brent and daughter Gabriella live in White Sulphur Springs with their four pets.

Carrie is another one of our receptionists.  She and her husband, Kelly reside in White Sulphur Springs.

Debbie joined our front office staff as a receptionist a couple months ago who will also be working in our Marlinton office.  She and her husband, Kevin reside in Marlinton along with their dog, Charlie.

Exam Room and Vet Assistants

We are extremely lucky to have such long-term, skilled assistants. They do a very good job of monitoring surgical patients, nursing care, assisting in surgery, performing dental cleanings, and a whole host of other tasks. The hospital truly could not function without them.

Helen is our exam vet assistant and will be glad to answer any questions you might have about preventive health care, flea control, dental care, etc. She has been with us for the past 8 years and is a great source of information.  She and her husband, Keith and daughter Addison, reside in Lewisburg.

Kelly has been here for over 18 years as a vet assistant. She has bunches of pets and is a true animal lover. She and her husband, Warren, reside in Williamsburg with their two sons, Davey and Owen & daughter, Devin.

Warren has been one of our vet assistants for the past 16 years. He operates his family farm with his wife, Kelly and is also working with the Soil Conservation Service in Alderson.

Heather is our licensed technician. She is a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College and will be technician at our Covington Office on Tuesdays.

Dawn is one of our vet assistants. She resides in Lewisburg with her two children and numerous pets.

Julie is one of our vet assistants who also helps in the kennel from time to time.  She resides in Lewisburg with her husband, Adam, 4 children and numerous pets.

Jon is our newest vet assistant.  He resides in Lewisburg.

Kennel Staff

Animal caretakers include Evelyn, Devin, Julie, Autumn, Hannah, and Katy.

Housekeeping

Our custodian is Cathy. She and her husband, Bill,  currently reside in Williamsburg. Keeping the hospital clean and as odor-free as possible is a never ending task.

Our textile engineer is Evelyn, an employee of 30+ years. She resides in Maxwelton. Keeping the beds & towels clean and dry is a never ending task and Evelyn really does a great job!
