ADMINISTRATION
Elaine has been with us for over 20 years and is our hospital administrator. We rely on her to take care of several departments, including personnel and accounts payable. She is married to Bob Zopp (the former coach) and has 2 children. Elaine keeps us organized (a very difficult task, indeed). Daphaine is our OSHA Supervisor and purchasing agent. She also works in our Rainelle office on Wednesdays. She, her husband, Brent and daughter Gabriella live in White Sulphur Springs with their three pets. RECEPTIONISTS
Lou Ella is one of our receptionists who also works in our Covington office on Tuesdays. She and her husband Chuck have 3 kids (two daughters and one son). She is always cheerful, smiling and ready to talk about her grandson Katie is another one of our receptionists and public relations director. She and her husband, Allen, live in Union along with their two dogs and 4 feline children. Debbie is also one of our receptionists. She and her husband, Richard, live in Lewisburg with their 2 canine children. Sam is our newest receptionist. She resides in White Sulphur Springs. Exam Room and Vet Assistants
We are extremely lucky to have such long-term, skilled assistants. They do a very good job of monitoring surgical patients, nursing care, assisting in surgery, performing dental cleanings, and a whole host of other tasks. The hospital truly could not function without them. Helen is our exam room vet assistant and will be glad to answer any questions you might have about preventive health care, flea control, dental care, etc. She has been with us for over 10 years and is a great source of information. She and her husband, Keith and daughter Addison, reside in Lewisburg. Kelly has been here for over 20 years as a vet assistant. She has bunches of pets and is a true animal lover. She and her husband, Warren, reside in Williamsburg with their two sons, Davey and Owen & daughter, Devin. Warren has been one of our vet assistants for the past 20 years. He operates his family farm with his wife, Kelly and is also working with the Soil Conservation Service in Alderson. Heather is our licensed technician. She is a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College and will be technician at our Covington Office on Tuesdays and Fridays. Dawn is one of our vet assistants. She resides in Lewisburg with her two children and numerous pets. Tiffany is one of our vet assistants. She resides in Hillsboro on her family horse farm. Ashley is also one of our vet assistants. She and her husband, Brian, along with their two children, reside in Renick. Kennel Staff
Animal caretakers include Evelyn, Brittany, Courtney, Lisa and Mary. Housekeeping
Our custodian is Cathy. She and her husband, Bill, currently reside in Williamsburg. Keeping the hospital clean and as odor-free as possible is a never ending task. Our textile engineer is Evelyn, an employee of 30+ years. She resides in Maxwelton. Keeping the beds & towels clean and dry is a never ending task and Evelyn really does a great job! |
